Pesto is super easy to make and such a handy thing to have in your freezer to spice up a pasta dish, dips, egg dishes etc. We use home-grown basil and always make sure there are plenty of pesto cubes in the freezer year round.
Prepare all the ingredients
Purée together in a blender
Fill ice-cube trays and freeze overnight. You can then pop them out and store in freezer in zip-lock bags.
